Judd P. Tattershall passed away with his two daughters by his side at the age of 71. He is survived by his only children: Paige Bruzdowski (Richard), Kyle Tattershall (Talon), Philip Tattershall (Makenzie); 7 grandchildren he adored: Judd, Kara, Abigail, Delilah, Osborne, Kayde and Trevin. Also by his brother: Todd Tattershall.
Judd grew up in Glen Ellyn, Illinois- a small town outside of Chicago. In high school his talent for music urged him to learn the guitar and trombone, among other instruments. His love for music and playing would carry on throughout his life, leaving beautiful memories for his family. A proud Veteran of the United States Army, Judd flew helicopter’s during the Vietnam War. He earned a Bachelor’s degree from CalPoly Pomona and continued his education at UCLA, where he received his MBA.
Mr. Tattershall was a Captain in the Army Corp of Engineers and worked as an industrial engineer most of his career. He was a valued employee for the same company, Matson for 35 years. He was also a member of an honor society for engineers.
Judd was active with his children- Scout Master of Cub Scout troop #445, he was always involved in campouts, meetings, music and had dazzling auctioneer skills during fundraisers. About 39 years ago he acquired a Yellow Naped Amazon Parrot. Judd named him Chuck and they had been inseparable since. He was a vibrant, loving Grandfather and will be remembered as such.
Memorial Services were held privately by the family at Postino in Lafayette, Ca.
