What a shock to learn of Len's passing, and how sad I feel for this huge loss. Len had a huge impact on my life, as he did, I'm sure, for anyone who dared enter his sphere. Far be it for me to cast aspersions was a famous Len opening line that makes me smile even as I write it, knowing that whatever followed would be as slicing, entertaining, and clever as he was. Blustery, brilliant Len. He will be greatly missed. I offer my sincerest condolences and deepest sympathy to the love of his life, Elinore.

Len was my copywriter at World Savings. I learned so much working with him a great copywriter, teacher and even better friend. I'm truly sorry for his passing. He was a good man, highly respected by me and other coworkers, he will be missed. My condolences to the family. Rest in peace brother.

Len Alaria and I shared a special distinction...we were born around 30 days apart in the Chinese Year of the Dragon..1940..symbolic of authority and good fortune.  People born in the year of the Dragon are powerful,kind hearted,successful,innovative,brave,courageous and enterprising. More importantly Len was a good guy who had a good life with his significant other...Elinore. Rest in Peace Len...you were a special edition.

Eli, I was truly saddened to hear of Len's passing recently. Len was a good guy, personable and conversationally engaging. I'm sure he was comforted by family and friends, Please accept my sincerest condolences.

Truly one of a kind.  As loyal and generous as he was irascible.  We'll remember always the times, events and places we shared with Len and Eli.  Rest in peace, chili partner.  I'll sorely miss our Sunday morn phone chats.  Our thoughts and prayers are with Eli.
