Born Dec 6, 1938 in Blue Rapids Kansas to Elva McMurray and Peter John Hill. Bob’s blue eyes faded in the early morning light of January 27, 2022 and he moved on to be with his mom and dad. Bob is survived by his wife Julie-Ann Euronis Hill, whom he met during computer dating 54 years ago. He is also survived by his older Brother Ron Hill, wife Shirley their children Connie Everton and Ronnie Hill, his wife Debbie and son Chance.
Bob spent his childhood in Loveland, Co. Graduating from Loveland High School. He and his best friend Willie Guest had a small thriving timber business. Moving on to California due to Uncle Sam calling his name and number. He spent his short deployment in the US Army at Ft. Ord. Remaining down in the Salinas area until he met his future wife via the SF Chronical. Bob was the ultimate salesman, from timber to autos to settling down to a swimming pool service business. He and his wife ran for over 18 years down in Silicon Valley. Selling the business and retiring, they left the burgeoning Bay Area, moving north, where they settled in Bodega Bay. A quiet man, he enjoyed the solitude of living on a hill overlooking the bay, watching the boats come and go. He was an advocate in rescuing abandoned cats. One favorite was his black cat with golden eyes, JohnPaul. Diagnosed with many Stage Four Cancers 2015, he fought the struggle with dignity and courage .
Many thanks to the local paramedics who came to assist us over the years and to all the staff with Memorial Hospice who provided the caring and compassion in his final days. He loved the pampering he was given. A special thanks to Kaiser Urologist, Dr. Glenn Barrisford who gave him the extra years.
Bob will be interred with his mom and dad in Loveland Co at a later date. His favorite charity was Best Friends of Knaub, Utah.
