Ann Goodin Hurley, 85, passed away on December 15th, 2024, at her home in California. Ann was born in Portland, Oregon, on July 21, 1939, the daughter of Ermyne Goodin and John Nimocks.
Ann is survived by her two sons, Craig and John Till, her sister Mary Nimocks, ten grandchildren, and the many others who loved her.
Ann moved to California at a young age and lived in Long Beach with her twin sister, Joanne. She was married twice and, during her first marriage, was blessed with her two sons, Craig and John.
Ann had several careers during her lifetime, including a fashion model, store manager, and owner of a jewelry and clothing store and a fish and chips stand.
Ann was smart, compassionate, resilient, and a woman of faith throughout her life. Ann was a fighter who persevered through all of the challenges, health scares, and struggles she endured in her lifetime.
Ann was not only a mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, but also an incredibly talented artist. She created beautiful paintings, ceramics, and jewelry. In her later years, she enjoyed playing bingo, gardening, and spending time with her family and friends. Her kindness and perseverance will always be a testimony to her strength and the love she shared with others. Ann will surely be missed and will forever remain in our hearts.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 29th, at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Bible Church,
