Jack Ignatius Guercio

Jack Guercio of San Jose, California, passed away peacefully on August 16, 2026, at the age of 85.

Jack was born on 2/1/1941 in Chicago, Illinois, where he was raised and graduated from high school. He later moved to San Jose, California, with his parents and sister, beginning a new chapter of his life in the Bay Area.

Jack began his career as a barber, a profession he enjoyed for several years, before pursuing a career in real estate and earning his Real Estate Broker’s license. He was a hardworking and dedicated man who took pride in his career and the life he built for his family.

Jack is survived by his beloved wife, Faye, with whom he shared 52 years of marriage; his children, Tamara, Eric, Keith (Christine), and Jeffery; and his sister, Vivian James (Christopher). He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the staff of Palm Villas and the With Grace Hospice team for the care, kindness, and compassion they provided to Jack during his final days.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life in Jack’s honor at Maggiano’s Restaurant in Santana Row, located at 3055 Olin Avenue and Winchester Boulevard, on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at 12:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be considered in Jack’s honor to the Alzheimer’s Society.
