Virginia Mercedes Rodriguez passed away on November 12, 2024 at the age of 88 years old in Foothill Ranch, CA. She was born on September 24, 1936 in Red Mountain, CA. She graduated from Tehachapi High School in 1954. She retired from the California Department of Motor Vehicles as a Manager. She was actively involved with family, friends and loved to travel.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leobardo Lagos Ortiz and Clara Isabel Napoles, her sister Caroline Montano, her brother Randy Ortiz, and grandson Brian Sexton.
She is survived by her brother Patrick Ortiz, Daughters Cynthia Arias and Cathy Sexton, sons
John Pacheco and Ronald Martinez, Granddaughters Veronica Mitchell, Amy Somero and
Rachel Martinez Rawlings and Grandson Alex Martinez.
The family would like to thank Caregiver Jeslie Ruiz and Salus Hospice for the care and
compassion they showed our loved one in the final days.
