

She was born June 5, 1942 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Ashland, WI, the only child of Claude “ Coop” and Irene ( Wallin ) Cooper.
At 14 she worked as a cashier ( for many years) at the Bay Theater. She then became an elementary school teacher in Eagle River, WI for a few years. She worked at Job Service for the State of WI for many, many years til she retired.
She enjoyed her family, grandchildren, garage sales, slot machines at the casino, cribbage, fishing, motorcycling, sleeping on the couch, jigsaw puzzles, sunshine, nature, flowers, music, a good blizzard and beautiful snowfall.
She is survived by; daughter Heidi ( Brad ) Bacon of Vero Beach , FL ;
son Jason ( John Nadeau ) Hall of Rancho Mirage, CA ;
Grandchildren Madison ( Jordan ) Tolman, and Triston Ware.
Cousins Rita Strom, Patsy Blasewitz, Nancy Pinar and Carol Samuelson. God-daughter Missy Clark Nabozny, and special friends Annie Roffers and Connie Capitano.
She is preceded in death by her parents, numerous Cooper and Wallin aunts and uncles, friends, Boston Terriers, and significant other Ted Chapman.
She lived by the motto : Clutter = treasures that make you happy. In her honor - stop by a yard sale or thrift shop and buy a bunch of things you don’t need BUT you might , swing by the casino and pull the slots and win BIG - order not one, not two, but three of the same item from HSN ( and in every color ) she will be smiling down at you !
A private graveside service will be held at a later date, at Mt Hope Cemetery in Ashland, WI. Expect to hear her favorites from the Bee Gees, Frank Sinatra, Puttin on the Ritz by Taco, and You & Me against the World by Helen Reddy. She will be missed.
