Emile August Wolf Jr.

Emile A. Wolf Jr. passed away on July 9, 2026 in Rancho Mirage, CA with his Loving Spouse Vincent Matyas by his side. He was born on May 24, 1961 in New Orleans, LA to his parents, Emile & Rosemary Wolf. He was one of (3) children with a twin brother, Steve & Sister Missy. Emile grew up in the Westgate subdivision of Metaire, LA to a loving Family with many wonderful childhood memories.

After high school, he went on to learn the electrical industry and worked within the industry with GE and others for his career as a sales & marketing representative. Later in life he became a realtor working with clients in the Coachella Valley area of CA.

Emile went on to marry the love of his life, Vincent Matyas on May 24, 1981 and legally married on June 27, 2008 in San Diego, CA. They met while Vincent was visiting a friend who lived across the street from Emile’s childhood home while Emile and his sister Missy were outside talking. At that time both Emile and Vincent felt an attraction to each other but neither pursued it at the time. Months later Emile ran into Vincent when he and Emile’s neighbor were at a club and Emile asked for a ride home. Vincent was more than happy to oblige and after Vincent dropped off the neighbor friend Kevin, Emile told Vincent to come back and pick him up because he wanted to talk. That’s was the beginning of a Loving friendship that spanned 45 years. Emile & Vincent built a life together filled with Love, Laughter and unwavering devotion to one another

Emile was a dedicated Spouse and loving father to many pets over the years. He leaves behind Vincent and our little cat Bailey George who he adored. Many Loving cousins, Nieces, Nephews as well as Great Nieces, Nephews, Sister in laws Susan Butler, Katherine Matyas, Melody Matyas & Brother in Law Michael Matyas along with many Friends. Emile loved to laugh and smile and was always the life of a party. His beautiful smile would light up a room once he entered.
