

Frank Joseph Ventrola passed away on Monday, June 8, 2026, in Temecula, California. He was born on March 28, 1933, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to his parents, Vincenzo and Amalia Ventarola. He was one of three children and was predeceased by his sisters Josephine (Pasquarella, died August 1973) and Antoinette (Vizoco, died February 1, 2005).
Frank attended Edward Bok Vocational-Technical School in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where he trained to be a tailor. He graduated June 13, 1951. His accomplishments included City Football Player of the Year Award in 1951, Senior Class President 1950-51, and Student Body Vice President (1950-51). Besides playing football, Frank also competed on the sculling, and basketball teams. Frank matriculated at both Temple University in Philadelphia, and the University of Kentucky. He majored in Business.
Frank married his high school sweetheart, Catherine Argiro, on September 3, 1955, at The Epiphany Catholic Church in Philadelphia. Three daughters were born to them in Philadelphia: Cynthia, Valerie, and Laurie.
In March of 1965, Frank and Cathy relocated their family to Anaheim, California where they resided until 2001 while Frank worked for the City of Anaheim at the Angel Stadium, Convention Center, and Golf Courses as both an Event Coordinator and Wardrobe Supervisor from 1966 to 2000.
Frank and Cathy welcomed their fourth daughter, Faith, into the family in 1973. During the Jesus Movement of the 60’s and 70’s, Frank also met and put his faith in his Savior, Jesus Christ, Whom he loved and followed to the end of his days. His family was forever changed.
In his spare time, Frank enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, church functions, hunting, fishing, golfing, softball, carpentry, and lending a helping hand. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

A celebration of life is scheduled at Calvary Chapel Bible Fellowship, Temecula, CA, July 18, 2026, 10:00 a.m. It will also be recorded for those who cannot make it in person.
