

He was born on September 9, 1939, in Sonora, Mexico to his parents, Antonio
Gonzalez and Ernestina Corral. He was one of 11 children. He adored all his
older brothers and sisters. Most importantly he loved being a big brother to his
little sister.
After high school, he went on to the United States to start a new life and
become a citizen. He lived with pastor Franco and his wife. Eventually found
work and met his future wife.
George went on to marry the love of his life, Josephine Delores Nanez, on
August 13th, 1960, in the City of Los Angeles. They met while attending church
in 1959.
George was a loving husband and dedicated hands-on father. He was a hard
worker and provider who lived a godly life. The best father of seven children,
Lisa, Nancy, George, Joann, Tim, Stephen and Aaron. A leader of the home
and an exceptional example for his children. A devoted husband to his wife till
her passing in 2005.
In his spare time, he enjoyed the beach, swimming, riding his bike, and singing.
He dedicated every day of his life to reading the word of God. His faith was
the center of who he was.
George will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his 7
children, 14 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren and His sister Lupe
Covarrubias.
