Nicole Bouchard

Nicole Bouchard, aged 55, ended her long and courageous battle with breast cancer and passed peacefully surrounded by friends and family on July 18, 2026. Her eternal soul finally rested and went home to be with her Creator.

Nicole was born on March 30,1971 in San Diego CA to Kenneth Clifford Bouchard Jr. and Sherryl (Siemasz) Bouchard. She was a graduate of Vista High School. Passionate about music, Nicole spent a few years working in front and back of house operations for family friend Bill Silva at concert venues all over Southern California.

Once she decided she wanted to become an Interior Designer, Nicole attended university at Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City on a scholarship from her dad’s company. She graduated and became a designer working in New York on residential and commercial projects around the country. She had found her life’s passion in Interior Design.

Nicole was always generous with her design talents with family and friends. She was the person to consult on the exact color of an accent wall, or what was the perfect lighting fixture for a dining room. She loved to redesign rooms with existing furniture and delighted in scouring thrift and resale shops to find just the perfect piece to finish a room.

Nicole lived and worked in NYC for 20 years. More recently she had relocated to the Coachella Valley around Palm Springs CA where her mother had resided. In her spare time Nicole loved travel, cooking, and attending festivals like Burning Man and Coachella.

Nicole is predeceased by her mother, Sherryl Nova. She is survived by her father, Kenneth C. (Ken) Bouchard Jr. and his wife Sue, her brother Kenneth C. (K.C.) Bouchard III and his wife Cheryl, her niece and nephew Leah Bouchard and Kenneth C. (Kenny) Bouchard IV, her stepbrother Dylan Mayer and his wife Kelli, her uncle Steve Bouchard and his wife Linda, her aunt Michelle Rutkowski, and many cousins, plus beloved friends all over the world.

Nicole will be cremated privately and her ashes scattered at sea. A Celebration of Life will be scheduled for a future date.
