Born on November 26, 1928, to Lomer Robinson and Pricilla McMahan Robinson in Macon County North Carolina. Pricilla Remarried and Nina was raised by her stepfather JK Hinson, and they moved to High Point NC the family were avid members of the Salvation Army. Nina Married Ervin E. Drawdy and had 3 Daughters, Beverly Carol, Eleanor, and Melanie. They lived in North Carolina, Virginia, Florida and finally moved to California in 1960. Nina was the manager for the Harris Co. beauty salons in Riverside and San Bernardino. She remarried in 1978 to Edward (Jim) Miller, and they moved to Northern California for 10 years, where she managed apartments for Zukin Co, upon her return to Southern California she happily retired.
Nina was preceded in death by all her parents, Lomer, JK and Pricilla, Aunt Ollie Hinson, brother Ray Hinson sister-in-law Betty Hinson, sister Maryanne Paton, brother Harold Hinson, granddaughter Carolyn Casella Broton, Husband Jim Miller, daughter Beverly Carol Drawdy Geisinger, and great granddaughter Catrina Marie Broton Johnson.
Nina is survived by her daughters Melanie Honeywell, husband David, Eleanor Charlebois, significant other John Hoffman. 5 Grandchildren and their spouses Lynnette Jonhson (Gene) Melissa Baker, Lorraine Hoffman (David) David Burleson and Charles Parrish Jr. 12 Great Grandchildren- Brad, Leanne Rasmussen, Lauren Rasmussen Shuey (Maverick), Austin, Kyle and Caleb Hoffman, Rachelle, Rebecca and William Galbreath, Kaylee Burleson, Jenna and Skyler Parrish.
Nina felt blessed to have had so many relatives, friends and family in her life, too many to mention, but managed to keep in touch with most with her vacations and phone calls. What a party the heavens must be having with her arrival!!
