Remembering Rene fondly as my college buddy working through all those PE classes at La Sierra. He was the best friend anyone could hope for.  Then he became family by marrying my sweet cousin,  Sheri.  What could be better!?  Sending love and light to all who knew him.  Use the loving memories to ease the pain of loss.  ❤️❤️❤️

Goodness, what an incredible guy. Met him at the class reunion. Always a good friend. He'll be missed!

I will miss Rene's quick wit and dry humor. He was steady and easy-going, just the kind of friend everyone needs and hopes for. I look forward to the day we will meet again, maybe we'll go for a run through the streets of Heaven! Until that day, we'll keep Sherry and Andy in our prayers.

So sorry for the  the news of the passing of a wonderful person who l loved as a brother in Christ may the Lord bless the family at this time and prayers go out to Cheri Cortez in Christ Name Amen from Anglica and Nash  Collins Jr  I  am sure we will meet again when the role  is  called up yonder will be there 🙏 Amen
