Valerie Mae Schoppelrey
December 18, 1942 – September 12, 2026
Valerie Mae Schoppelrey, who loved to be called "Nana" by her grandkids, departed her loving family on September 12, 2026.
Valerie was born in New Milford, New Jersey, on December 18, 1942, to Arlie Mae Relyea and George Lynman Robertson.
Valerie’s love of her life was her husband, Victor Schoppelrey. They were married on February 19, 1971, in New Jersey. Victor passed away on December 28, 1998.
Valerie was known for her friendly, loyal personality.
Her hobbies were taking care of her pets and gardening. She was most proud of her family.
She is survived by her children, Kimberley, Gail, Douglas, Donna, and Darin; 6 Grandchildren, 13 Great-grandchildren, and 2 Great-Great-grandchildren. Valerie is survived by her two sisters, Ruth and Bonnie.
Valerie’s final wishes were to be cremated and have her and Victor’s ashes scattered at sea.
