James Earl Scalzitti

James "Jim" Scalzitti, born to Etha and August Scalzitti in Chicago, IL on Feb 9th,1937, passed on peacefully in his home in Sacramento, CA on Sept 6th, 2025. Jim was a dedicated father known for his unending passion to help others, an indomitable sense of humor, and honorable service to his country in the United States Army. Jim touched countless lives during his career in insurance sales and management which spanned more than 40 years. His strong work ethic and resilience helped him build a legacy that will never be forgotten. Jim will live on forever in the hearts of his family, friends, and neighbors who knew and loved him well. He is survived by his sister Sandra Collier, his five daughters and five sons, and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his three sons, Keith, Victor, and Nathaniel.

A celebration of life for James will be held Saturday, October 4, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Brooke Meadow Community, 3950 Mack Road, Sacramento, CA 95823.
