Bonnie Ellen Montague

She graduated from Oceanside High School in 1961 and The College of Notre Dame in San Francisco, with a major in Music and French and a Teaching Credential.

She worked as a teacher in various schools including St. Mary’s in Oceanside and Bobier in Vista. She was actively involved in local choirs and the MiraCosta orchestra. Her instruments were FrenchHorn,

Accordion, and piano. She led many a Christmas program. Bonnie volunteered as a Girl Scout leader as well.

She was also an Oblate at St. Charles Priory in Oceanside. She is preceded in death by her mother, father, and 2 sets of grandparents. She is survived by her sister Iris, her husband, and 2 nephews, 1 niece, and 2 grand nephews.

The family would like to thank Grossmont Gardens Assisted Living, UCSD Hillcrest Hospital, and

Village Square Health Care for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in their final days.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life at a time and location to be

determined at a later date.

Bonnie was a Christian lady who was always willing to help another in need. She also had the gift

of gab and a memory to embellish her stories to anyone who was willing to listen.
