She was preceded in death by her parents, Efrain and Josephine Ochoa.

Chris is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Bob; her daughter, Tricia (Tim Altman), son, Vernon (Denise); step daughter, Melissa; her grandchildren, Tim (Allie), Julie, Logan, Kasey; her great granddaughter, Everly, all of whom brought her immense pride and joy. She is also survived by her sister, Sandra and brother, Edward.

Born in Los Angeles and raised in Rosemead, California, Chris graduated from Rosemead High School. After raising her two children and a successful career in real estate, she met Bob, which became a full-time management position. Chasing her love of the beach, they moved to Carlsbad, California in 2006. Together they traveled and enjoyed countless adventures. Chris remained close with many of her childhood friends and classmates, cherishing those friendships throughout her life.

Chris loved to travel and meet new people. She had the ability to make everyone feel comfortable, like they had been her friend forever. Her warmth, kindness and genuine interest in others left a lasting impression on everyone she met.
