

Born on September 3, 1933, in Detroit, Michigan, Jack was affectionately known as “Pooch” during his childhood-a nickname that remained with him among his family and lifelong friends. He went on to live a full and meaningful life, spending most of his years in La Jolla, California, a place he proudly called home.
Jack shared 59 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Barbara. Their life together was built on love, loyalty, and enduring companionship. He was a devoted father to his daughter, Jaimi Manning (Dave), and his son Blake London.
He was a proud and loving grandfather to Jack Manning (Bryce), David Manning, and Ava London, and a great grandfather to Naomi Manning, each of whom brought him immense joy.
A visionary and entrepreneur, Jack founded Pro Golf of America, combining his business knowledge with his lifelong passion for golf. An avid golfer and tennis player, he found great happiness on the course and on the court, often sharing these passions with friends and family.
Jack will be remembered for his love of storytelling, his quick wit, and his deep appreciation for time spent with his loved ones. He had a remarkable ability to bring people together, leaving lasting impressions through laughter, warmth, and genuine connection.
His legacy of love, humor, and generosity will live on through all who knew him.
