Barbara Jane Lane

She was raised in New York state and the Jersey shore. Barbara attended Asbury Park High School. She was one of 9 children of a close knit family.

Barbara retired from a long career working retail at Gottschalks department store.

She is preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Marion Plummer, husband Monroe Leslie Lane, sons David and Leslie Lane, siblings Judith Silver and Richard Plummer, and nephew Dennis Mckeon.

Barbara is survived by her children Linda Lane Walters, Stephen and wife Sonia,, and Timothy Lane, grandchildren Steven Dufur, Shelbie Lane, Kyle Lane, Shayna Lane, Cole Lane, Sarah Lane, great grandchildren Talon Lane and Caspien Lane, siblings Susan Nordstrom, Arthur “Punky” Plummer, Robert Plummer, Elizabeth “Betsy” Mckeon, Candice Larson, Christopher “Buzzy” Plummer.

A memorial service will be held at a later date after the holidays. In lieu of flowers the family requests to consider donating to a charity close to Barbara’s heart, the American Cancer Society. You can donate by clicking the link below.
