Shannon Lee Stebbins

Shannon is survived by her beloved husband of 36 years, David Stebbins; her three children, Jonathan Micah Stebbins, Christopher Dean Stebbins, and Jessica Lynnae Stebbins; her parents, Dean and Beverly Deaton; her sister, Tara Crandall (Jason Crandall); and many other family members and loved ones who cherished her deeply.

Shannon grew up in Los Gatos, California, and attended Valley Christian High School, when she met her high school sweetheart, David. She continued her education at West Valley College where she earned her Associate’s Degree in early childhood development. David and Shannon married in 1990 and began building a life together. Shortly thereafter, they welcomed their three children, and Shannon devoted herself wholeheartedly to her Christian faith, and to loving, caring for, and nurturing her family. She homeschooled her children from kindergarten to college, dedicating countless years to their education and well-being. Her family was the center of her world, and she gave them a lifetime filled with love, devotion, guidance, and cherished memories.

Shannon loved the outdoors, and some of her happiest moments were spent at the lake with a fishing pole in hand, always hoping to bring home the best catch of the day.

Shannon also had an incredible gift for cooking. She poured her heart and soul into everything she did, especially in the kitchen, where she created amazing dishes that became treasured family favorites. Her cooking was a true reflection of the care, creativity, and love she put into everything she made.

After her children had grown, Shannon began working at the local CVS, where she continued to touch the lives of those around her. Customers were welcomed by her beautiful smile and warm blue eyes, and her coworkers and those who knew her will remember the kindness, compassion, and warmth she brought to even the simplest interactions.

Above all, Shannon will be remembered for the love she gave so freely, to her husband, her children, her parents and sister, her extended family, her friends, and everyone fortunate enough to cross her path. She had a way of making people feel welcomed, cared for, and loved.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Her legacy of love, devotion, kindness, and family will continue through her children and the generations to come.

Shannon will be deeply missed, forever cherished, and always loved.

Celebration of Life Service will be held at Cathedral of Faith at 2315 Canoas Garden Ave in San Jose on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at 7 minutes before 11:00 a.m.
