She was born in Fresno Ca. June 17,1956. She was a graduate of San Joaquin Memorial High School and graduated from Fresno State with BA in education. She taught for many years at John Muir Elementary School in Fresno.
She is survived by her siblings, Teri Gray (Bob), Julia McKinney-Nichols (Kenny), Mary Kay Avent (Tommy), Bill McKinney (Vicky), Patrick McKinney, Michael McKinney, John McKinney, Elizabeth McKinney (Craig Tomlinson), and the many nieces and nephews who she loved dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents William and Margaret McKinney, and her sister Carol Combe.
She will be missed by many family and friends who loved her.
A Celebration of Life will be held by the family at a later date.
