Rhonda Lois Madden

Rhonda Lois Madden of Rohnert Park passed away on January 22, 2023 of natural causes.

Rhonda was born on January 15, 1943 to Armand and Elizabeth Haurat in San Francisco as Lois Haurat, with her twin sister, Lorna.

Rhonda graduated from Lowell High School in 1959, After which she, along with her sister and best friend Tanya Lemani headed to Hollywood, as one does, to find their fortune as movie stars in the film business.

She found work in some minor roles in films such as Blue Hawaii and television shows such as Batman and Mission Impossible.

While in Hollywood Rhonda met Roger Redelings with whom she had a son, Rhett Redelings. When she and Roger Redelings separated in the early 1970’s, Rhonda relocated to the San Francisco Bay Area to be closer to her family. Shortly thereafter, she started her Business, Creative Automotive Consultants.

Creative Automotive offered classic car appraisals, title transfer work for prestigious auction houses such as Barrett Jackson Auctions, and eventually, procured cars for television and film. Rhonda was a lifelong fan of all things automotive. Her expertise lead her to being a judge for many Pebble Beach Concourse D’Elegance events, and an expert witness for cases involving very rare cars. In the 1990’s, Rhonda bought a race-ready 1959 Alfa Romeo Giulietta, which she and her close friend Phyllis Walker raced in Martin Swig’s California Mille.

Rhonda was a huge presence in the classic and collector car community, and she will be very much missed.

Rhonda was hugely proud of her Argentine heritage and maintained close connections with her family from Argentina until her passing. She was predeceased by her sister, Lorna Bentley, and their parents Armand and Elizabeth Haurat. She is survived by her son, Rhett Redelings, his wife and their three cats.
