Robert Michael Barone

~Our dear friend, Robert M Barone was born in June 1939, passed on 4/4/20 after a sudden and intense month-long medical ordeal with from a severe stroke. Robert had grown up on the East Coast and served in the Navy as a Corpsman.

~A longtime resident of San Francisco, he loved the city, loved the arts, music, European travel. He was a great lover of Italian food, fine dining, and he was a solid good cook, Italian (of course).

~Robert had a long association with University of San Francisco, first with the radio station, KUSF. Robert finished up his studies at the college there, then taught at USF for many years in the creative writing program.

~Robert was pre-deceased by his loving mother, is survived by his dear Aunt Margie, and cousins in upstate New York. His many friends here in northern California will surely miss him. Robert was a loyal friend and a class act.
