My grandmother was a good woman. She may not have been the best mom, but she was an outstanding grandma. The things she did for me are too numerous to put here. She’d bake me pies, she taught me to cook eggs, she taught me to make soup. She taught me how to clean. She was a party girl, and loved opening her home to friends and family for big events. Life around Grandma Shirley was never dull. She lit up a room, and always had something to say.
