William Lawrence Gage Jr.

William Lawrence Gage Jr 11/30/1943 – 07/03/2017 William Lawrence Gage Jr., age 73, passed away at Angel Wings Care Home in Antioch, California on Monday, July 3, 2017. Born November 30, 1943, in Denver, Colorado, Bill lived in Denver and moved to California’s Bay Area in the early 1960s before settling in South San Francisco. He worked in the auto industry as a service adviser in San Francisco until retiring in 2008. He was a member of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers. Bill enjoyed flying his Cessna, riding motorcycles, taking pictures, and spending time with his dogs. Survivors include his wife, Jean Gage, and their children, Michelle Thompson and Stephen Gage; children, Scott Wooten and Tracy Gage, with former spouse, Betty; grandson, Eric Wooten; his sisters, Cynthia Hickenbottom and Christine Sommerfeld; nieces and nephews; and grand nieces and nephews. Bill was preceded in death by his father, William Gage Sr., and his mother, Wilma Gage. Funeral services will be not be held. A private memorial will be held with family members.
